Life gets in the way

I haven't been posting much the last few weeks, a summer of working 10 hour days Monday through Friday and most of the Saturdays finally caught up with me. I'm trying to get all the projects done around the house before the snow flies.
I haven't lost interest in air guns and have a few projects in mind to keep me busy this winter.
Thanks to Crosman re-releasing the 2260 I have a new shooter on the way, I'll be sure to post pics and do a write up when it arrives.
Here is a picture I swiped off the Crosman sight....

I have been looking for one for a while, I had read many posts in forums praising the 2260. When I finally decided I should own one they were no longer available and I wasn't seeing them for sale used either. I have my Disco but I  think the 2260 is going to be more convenient, pellets and 12 gram Co2 carts are all you need.
I'm excited to get this air gun, I see many hours of tinkering in my future. I included a .22 cal. steel breech kit in the order and that will be the first change I make. I already have a 1760 barrel and a .177 cal steel breech kit so I can convert it to .177 cal when the mood strikes me.
I think Crosman should build a pumper based on the 2260 / 1760, a good quality wood and metal pumper would be a nice addition to their line up. The Benji pumpers are great quality air guns but I prefer the more traditional lines of the 2260.
